The model RAD Radial Sliding Dampers are engineered for supply and return air distribution in heating, cooling and ventilation applications. The incremental shutter closure design permits precise control and does not interfere with diffuser air patterns. The bow tie steel shutters fan open or closed about a cast pivot. They are actuated from an opening in the diffuser using a socket wrench to rotate the pivot-head that is coupled through a flexible steel shaft.
